Comments: Perennial of the Year 1997, It is one of
my favorites for Spring color.

Maintenance: Needs to be deadheaded regularly and will re-bloom. Just “lop it off”
and it will re-bloom. Just “lop it off”
rather than deadheading each bloom.
It will re-bloom within a couple of weeks.
Maximum elevation: 8500 ft.


Should be deer resistant.
