Height 12-20”
Spacing 18”

Sun: Full sun moderate shade
Water: Xeric but can handle some moisture
Landscape Use: Mid Spring/early summer
                        bloom and  sporadically until fall
                        if you trim..

Comments: Color mid summer, nice foliage,
                    Does not attract cats and is NOT in
                    the mint family so does not spread
                    and overtake. Will attract bees along
                    with butterflies when in flower.

Maintenance: Cut back after spring bloom, then
                    again in fall.

Maximum elevation:  8000 ft.


Rumored deer resistant.

 Same as  Blue Mist (but not as dark purple)

Dwarf Version
    First Choice - 18”x18’’

Sun: Full Sun
Water: Xeric after established
Blooms. Late summer into fall

Landscape Use: Medium Shrub
                               
Comments: BEES! Full of them when blooming,
                            Can reseed and spread.
                            Great winter interest.
                    Can grow almost anywhere.

Maintenance: Can be cut to the ground every year
                            to stop spreading, but you will
                            lose the winter interest.

Maximum Elevation: 7500 ft..
May Be Deer Resistant
