Landscape Use: Border plant
Comments: Attracts bees and will spread; one plant
can reseed into many. That said it still has a place
in a xeric landscape because of it’s intense purple
color in late summer.
Has no winter interest;often confused with lavender.
Has a very strong sage scent.
Maintenance: Cut to ground in October before seeds
can spread!
Maximum Elevation: 8000 ft.
