Diabolo Ninebark/
Physocarpus opulifolius 'Monlo'

Deciduous Shrub

Size:
Height 8-10’

Sun: Full Sun
Water: Medium; recommend regular light watering.
Blooms: White flowers in spring/early summer

Landscape Use: Dark red leaves that are difficult
to find in a larger shrub.  Great accent shrub.
                               
Comments: A smaller variety, Dwarf Ninebark/
‘Nanus’  or Summer Wine Ninebark  are  similar
shrubs for smaller spaces.    ‘Darts Gold’ offers the
same shrub in yellow foliage.

Maintenance: Very Low. Cam be sheared to hedge
or shape. After maturity remove 1/3rd of old stems
every 3-5 years.
               
Maximum Elevation: 8000 ft.
Not deer resistant
